System is always in Loading mode. Once tray has opened, the display does not indicate Open as it should. If I manually push on the tray, it self-drives closed but still says Loading until I hold the power button in for several seconds until the system goes into Standby power mode. If I power on with Stop and Play buttons pressed, the display indicates: TEST 06 J and does not change to anything else. Is this likely a sensing issue, or a firmware issue? I have opened up the unit, have removed the player assembly, do not see anything obviously amiss ... dusted it off although did not see anything obviously dirty. If it may be a firmware issue, can someone advise how I can query the current rev installed, and how can I see more information about the self-checks that are being performed? Thanks; Larry. p.s. I know this is similar to some of the other problems posted here, but there have not really been any definitive or specific answers posted.

SOURCE: Stuck on Standby
Do a hard reset. Unplug it from the socket, the DVD and leave disconnected for 4 hours. This may or may not help, but it is a necessary step to restore all internal software codes to their factory settings.
Hope this may help;
