SOURCE: the ac is dripping inside the room

Hello.
You need to clean out the drain pan. Also unit shold be tilted back a little so water will run outside.

Remove the front grill and using an old tooth brush clean out the bottom pan where water is laying. Also be sure the drian hole outside the unit is clear.

Coleman Mach 48000 series roof top A/C in my camper & recently it's been dripping heavily inside the camper. We looked at the top & inside for a clogged line & can't find anything, suggestions?

I had the same problem but it wasn't a clogged drain line, it was the gasket between the roof of the camper and the AC unit. The gasket had shrunk and pulled apart allowing rain water in. To make sure you don't have a clogged drain line when using the AC do you notice water dripping off the camper anywhere besides inside? You should have some drips somewhere on the outside.

AC dripping water out of it.

Window unit? Tip it so it leans slightly outward so the water can drip outside instead of inside. It is absolutely normal for water to be dripping from any AC.

Here is your response in under 120 seconds.

Where is the drain hole on goldstar window ac my ac keeps dripping water inside the house

Hello, make sure the unit is tilted toward the outside a bit, if it is level the condensate will collect in the front and start dripping inside the house. Also, if the unit has a drain make sure it is clean so the water can drain out properly.

Just opened up the camper to find inside soaked on inside of unit

Check the condensate drain port for blockage and clear the blockage.
If the cover was on upside down, it is possible that it was impeding the air entering the coil.....this could have caused the coil to frost up....during your time to shut the unit off and inspect, the frost/ice started thawing and dripping into your trailer.

Here are the main items you want to address:
1. Ensure the drain is free and clear.
2. Ensure the air filter is clean and properly in place.
3. Ensure the evaporator coil is clean.
4. Ensure the covers are properly in place. ;-)

I hope you find this information to be very helpful to you moving forward. Let me know if you have any questions. Please don't forget to leave a rating for me. :-)

The water that drains from the airconditioner to outsied is clogged up and not draining how can i unclogg it myself?

I can tell you a few stories of my own - I've had this problem myself and water will eventually build up and leak inside your house - you don't want it to leak on your electrical outlet ! I do not know how long you had this unit or how old is it, but these things can happen over time due to dirt, dust or other foreign objects or rust. Some AC units have fan spinning and picking up the water and spraying it on evaporators, most of it should be evaporated - only excess humidity will cause dripping - on older models water should drip outside through an opening or two at the back of the AC unit.

Make sure your AC is not level, and is tilted about 20 degrees outside, allowing the water to flow outside the AC unit.

You will need to find a way to access your AC unit from outside, locate the areas where the water drips normally, you should see openings, using an object (paper clip, pipe cleaner, etc.) try to insert it in the holes back and forth until you dislodge whatever is blocking the hole - be careful not to damage the very deliate fins at the back of your AC.

if still no water drips then take a ladder and climb up and you shuold be able to see from the inside there should be a slope or container where water accumulates before dripping out, is there ANY water there ? If you mostly see water farther away then your AC is probably not tilted enough to allow water to flow out.

If there is neither any water towards the outer edge where it drips, nor inside, farther away nor dripping inside your home, then it is probably being all evaporated or your humidity level is under control. The more your air has moisture the more water will be produced inside your AC, any excess moisture will accumulate inside your AC - if your AC manages to evaporate all of it, and no leaks inside, good for you, I wouldn't touch it.

Another tip - when you shut down your AC, do you hear swishing and unusual sounds of water ? that could mean accumulated water not being evacuated - Although it IS normal for some stagnant water to remain in your AC - do not worry about that, as long as it doesn't leak inside.

Water dripping inside camper from AC unit

Basically there are holes in the base of the AC that allow water (condensation) to run out, that may be plugged, and usually you can tell by how much run-off you have on your roof, and the stain will also guide you to where to poke with wire to unclog. Best way to be sure is to take all the screws out around base of cover & lift cover off. Just watch for bees, or wasps before you do, they like to nest in there..If all unplugged & running out good but water still coming in trailer, then you may have a cracked drain pan.

Air conditioner leaks/drips from filter inside travel trailer

Either your 14"x14" a/c gasket is lose on the roof allowing the condensation to flow into your RV or you have a cracked condensation tray under the evaporator. I'm guessing the later
