Low Volume on Aux output

My Airwave XM radio has been working fine, hooked up to my portable FM radio until yesterday... now the volume is so low it's inaudible and impossible to increase. I have checked all the connections but nothing seems to correct it. What could this be? (both devices are plugged into wall outlets so it's not batteries.)

I have the same problem I tried my spare battery and it fixed it for 5 minutes. I think its the ac adapter relay or a relay in the docking station. My radio says battery charged. If I unplug my ac adapter and plug in back in it work for a minute or less. It tried checking the voltage and it was ok on the adapter. But it might cut out under load.

SOURCE: Airwave won't power up!

Remove back cover. Plug DC adapter into the bottom of the radio. Use an extra small paperclip or pin to push the 'reset' button just to the left of the white battery. Report back on progress.

My xm plays extremely loud thru my car stereo.no matter what i set the volume at.it is either off when volume is set to zero or loud at any other setting.changing the output level on the xm receiver does...

Are you playing it directly thru your FM antenna connection, or using the RCA jacks? You have to set the FM modulator level. It is also possible that you have a new FM radio with a type of ALC that will raise the lever regardless, but your regular car radio volume control should work. do not wire this directly to a power amp, as you won't have the control that you need. Good luck, let me know more.

The factory xm volume to low in 2006 corvette

Separate 'plug and play' XM radios, like the one pictured above, have a "MENU" setup, and you can adjust the "Audio Level" in that menu setting. See if you can access an XM menu. You can also ask your question over at XM411.com or XMfan.com; both are 'fan' websites.
Good luck - nice car too!

1000 w sony xplode works at low volume then red lights at volume5

Most likely one of your subs are blown, or the Ohm's are too low for the ampliphier. Try hooking up one speaker at a time to the amp and see if it does the same thing. If it shuts off on one of the two speakers, that speaker is most likely blown.

AUX Input, very low volume

Try turning the volume up on the pc first, and then the hts volume should be amplified by using its own volume control
