Conditioner is not used in the wash cycle

The conditioner always stays in the dispenser drawer during the wash cycle, despite cleaning everything. Even if you don't put any conditioner in, the slot in the dispenser where it should go also fills up with water which you then have to throw away manually by removing the dispenser drawer.

The cable tie solution worked for me as well.
I got a medium cable tie and pushed it up the 4 holes, pushing around 2 inches of cable tie through the hole.

This black gunge seems to be an issue with these machines, but otherwise it's been OK.

I had the same problem with my Bosch Classixx 1200 Express.
It was fixed today & I now know what to do in the future if it happens. The water gets into the soap/ conditioner dispenser drawer via 2 pipes. One points to the main detergent compartment and the other to the pre-wash and conditioner compartments. The pipes become clogged with a type of mould. This meant that in my machine the water was bypassing the conditioner. I had already removed the drawer and cleaned it up and cleaned the jets above with an old tootbrush but it hadn't solved the problem. The repair guy used a cable tie (one of those that is quite firm & will lock) and pushed it up inside the bigger jets. This loosened the black gunge. Then ran water thru from start of the basic cycles and all is now OK

Conditioner rise on the waa24270gb

Pull the drawer all the way out (pull out until you get restriction, then press on the middle, just above where it says 'MAX' for fab cond and this will allow the drawer to come out fully)
Where you press to get it out, pull this up and you will see a fixed cylinder in the drawer and a larger cylinder attached to the pivoted portion, ensure the drawer is clean of detergent and fabric conditioner residue, particularly inside the larger cylinder, use an old toothbrush (I have an old washed clean mascara brush that perfect for the small crevices etc). When you put the drawer back together the large cylinder sits over the small one and the top should clip in position via two small plastic tags.
Whilst the drawer is out, look into the machine and up into the top of the dispenser housing. On the left and right you will see several smalls hole, in the centre above where the fabric conditioner section is you will see four small square holes, this is where the water enters to dispense the conditioner, if it is particularly grubby in here use a scourer or toothbrush to give it a clean. Once it is clean you need to get a cable tie and feed it through all four square holes until you see it appear at the back of the dispenser housing, give it a little wiggle and pull it back out.
Replaced the drawer, add a small amount of conditioner to test and run on a rinse/spin or freshen up cycle- should be 18-22mins on display. Check the conditioner has been dispensed. Hopefully, this should sort it. Let me now if you need any further help.

Black **** in wash

Usually old conditioner. Remove clean and refit dispenser drawer. While the drawer's out, clean inside where it goes. Once refitted, put cycle on hottest wash you can with no powder or conditioner in. In future use less conditioner and put on a hot wash (empty) once a month

Machine won't draw out fabric conditioner from dispenser

Hello,
I dont know what model you have but you are correct in your assumption that the conditioner is siphoned out on the last rinse unless it is different for your model. Most machines I am familiar with operate in the first instance.Check that you have good water pressure to all compartments also get a toothbrush and clean the holes above the drawer even a bent piece of wire to unblock the small holes.

Good luck
