You won´t find a solution in the manual. You may ask LG for technical support. Bj?rn

How to reset lg 501b projector lamp life after replacement of new lamp

You'll need to go into your system setup screen on the projector and reset the lamp counter. It doesn't know when a bulb is changed, so it is a manual process.

Bulb of LG LP XG2 Multimedia Projector is too dark. We need one with at least 2500 Lumin to work together with a newer beamer

This projector is only capable of handling a 150w lamp and it only is rated at 1500ansi lumens. There is no way you can do what you are asking. other than buying a 2500ansi lumen projector

Spares not available

FOr most service centers, the only available parts are the modules themselves. There are very few of us left that actually perform component level repairs. In the case of this type of unit, there are no component level parts available as the only "parts" supplied by LG are modules. Dep[ending upon the servicer's experience and the nature of the problem, it is possible that the module could be repaired. This would not be an "authorized" repair, but it is possible. What is the nature of the problem that warrants the requirement of the motherboard?

Lamp light

That light is there to tell you that the lamp is close to the end of its useful life. It simple monitors the amount of current that the lamp is drawing, so if the lamp stops drawing a preset amount of current, the lamp light will come on, indicating to you to order a new lamp so you have one when this lamp finaly burns out. Good Luck

I have fitted a new lamp but the projector is not coming on

Hi Try to locate the reset button if there is one and then reset it. This may reset the lamp time feature and allow the unit to power up. I hope you didn't touch the bulb? Also Make sure the bulb has been seated properly and the case is closed. Have a Great Day !!
