How to reset the operation time meter Plug in the power cord, switch on the projector, and reset lamp time by pressing the (left and right arrow) and POWER buttons on the control panel simultaneously. Important: • If the 3 buttons was not pressed at the same time, the lamp time may not be reset. • Please confirm the TEMP indicator illuminates about 2 seconds and the lamp time has been reset. • The projector will not turn on if you do not secure the lamp lid. • You must reset the operation time meter after you replace the lamp. • Do not reset the operation time meter unless the lamp has been replaced.
FOr most service centers, the only available parts are the modules themselves. There are very few of us left that actually perform component level repairs. In the case of this type of unit, there are no component level parts available as the only "parts" supplied by LG are modules. Dep[ending upon the servicer's experience and the nature of the problem, it is possible that the module could be repaired. This would not be an "authorized" repair, but it is possible. What is the nature of the problem that warrants the requirement of the motherboard?
That light is there to tell you that the lamp is close to the end of its useful life. It simple monitors the amount of current that the lamp is drawing, so if the lamp stops drawing a preset amount of current, the lamp light will come on, indicating to you to order a new lamp so you have one when this lamp finaly burns out. Good Luck
Try to locate the reset button if there is one and then reset it. This may reset the lamp time feature and allow the unit to power up.
I hope you didn't touch the bulb?
Make sure the bulb has been seated properly and the case is closed.
Have a Great Day !!
