The above pictures show how to open and set the Pixma 530 printer and also where to set the papers. The paper tray is in the upper panel, when you open the panel it becomes the paper tray as shown in fig.
Yes. The manual feed tray is in the front door with the HP logo on it. When you fold that down this becomes the manual feed tray. Also note that HP referes to this tray as Tray1. The bottom paper tray is tray 2.
Thank You for using Fixya.
Vertical lines are caused by one of two things. 1. The photosensitive drum in the toner is scratched or the fuser has a problem. Either is an easy fix.
My idea is that you have the wrong printer for the job. Yes. It will automatically take anything that is put into the upper feed section, because it is actually the same feed section- it uses the exact same feed rollers to feed from the bypass tray as the main tray, this is designed only as a convenience for the occasion you want to print different size paper you may want to run, or for re-feeding for duplex
Hi artroebridge:
Thsi printer is asking you to load tray 1. You need to check the paper source. Print a configuration page and see what your trays are set for,and also check your print properties for the correct tray configuration (what tray u want to print from)
paper feed rollers wont feed paper through and also paper tray is empty prompt comes up when there is paper in the tray tried small amounts of paper and still says tray is empty
Is this a top feed - that is paper loaded on top at the back
bottom feed from a tray underneath?
Top feed take one sheet of paper and gently push it down whilst the printer is trying to grab it.
Tray feed - take tray out make sure no paper fragments are in the tracks and find a nail board and gently abrade the pick up rollers.
