Refer to the discussion at the other thread: http://www.fixya.com/support/t3309646-pump_motor_sounds_like_running_but_not

You will need to remove the top domed lid to access the working parts. Refer to http://www.fixya.com/support/t3543424-two_top_sections_held_together

Examine the water lines to ensure they are attached to the pump. If you feel you can do so without shocking yourself on any exposed electrical connectors, try disconnecting the inlet hose. Buy a two-foot section of the same size hose from the hardware store and connect it to the pump inlet. Plug in the unit (be careful!!!) and use the pump switch to see if it draws water. Then try reconnecting the inlet and connect the outlet to the new hose to see if the pump pulls water from through its suction tube and will pump through the new hose.

Vacuum won't turn on

Be sure to that the latches are connected to the water pan. The eSERIES and up will not turn on without the water pan latched. If that is not the issue, please call us and speak to a Rainbow Specialist.

Be sure to have it connected to the water pan. The eSERIES and above will not run without the water pan attached. If that is not the issue, give us a call and speak to a Rainbow Specialist.

Rainbow vacuum won't power on.

Do you have it on the water pan? All models above the eSERIES will not run without the water pan.

I can get the acorn nut off the separator but cannot get the separator off the vacuum. Can I pryn it off, or will I break it?

It's probably stuck in place by dried-on fine dirt...if the nut has been removed, don't pry it, as it's made from light material to enable the high RPMs. Lightly spray soapy water around the edge, WHILE HOLDING IT WITH THE SEPARATOR DOWN so that the water won't run into the motor. Once the dried dirt's wet, it should be removable with a gentle twist or tap. Then clean the separator with a brush and soapy water and wipe down the bowl and canister, and dry it all with a soft cloth.

I have a Rainbow Aqua Mate II and have it all hooked up but water will not come out of the white tank. I am using the trigger but nothing is happening.

It sometimes takes a good soaking with water in the tank for a while. Maby a Week or longer, and it also takes a little running time. Not more than 10 minutes at a time, then cool for 30 minutes inbetween runnings, for the water to pump out of them. Do not even hook up any hoses, until it pumps water.

Thank you,
Ralph

Water line routing

The biggest prob with Bissel is not pumping soap. Becuase if you don't run hot water through this tank the soap will dry and clog after cleaning and storing. Before taking it apart try running hot water through the solution tank and help break up the residue, best of luck. Steve
