Question about RCA HD52W56 52" Rear Projection HDTV
I bought my HD52W56 last year and all was well until one month before its warranty expiration and the screen started to turn a blue tint when watching a program. At first the screen would switch to the blue tint for a matter of minutes then turn back to normal, but now it is always blue and on screens where there is no picture, you can see lighter blue lines crossing the screen--some curve down/up at one end. Also, when the television is turned on, the screen remains blank only hearing the audio for about 2 minutes before the picture pops on screen. Im leaning towards a bad picture tube, but im no expert. Anyone got an answer to the problem i'd appreciate it. I dont wanna have to spend unnecessary money to have a repair man figure the problem out first then have to pay for him to repair it if its too big of a task for a home-remedy.
