Need info on how to wire a radio in a 1994 nissan pickup

I purchased this truck which was missing the radio. Apparently someone had cut the wires to install a non factory radio. I am trying to install a radio but do not know what the color coded wires stand for in the pickup. I have a 1997 Pathfinder radio that I am attempting to install.

How to test ignition switch 1994 nissan

Check the harness for any missing wires, its the main bundle of wires under the dash. If all is in place then check the fuses to see if any needs to be replaced. If all are tested and working, check the relays located in the main engine compartment. If all are intact and working, check the ground wires that connect to the frame of the engine and body or directly to the negative of the battery. The main wires you need to see that are connected is on the alternator, starter, and battery.

Hope this hepls

1994 nissan pickup idles funny and looses power when @ opperating temp

these kind of behavior generally happens, when the tappets clearance is less than the specified .that means when the engine heats up valves elongates, and the gap reduces, resulting valve leakage, improper combustion, power drop, emission, missing etc....set the tappets

Radio wire harness cut

You can buy a kit from a number of sources to solve this problem. Instructions come with the kit. If you are putting a stock radio back in go to a junk yard and cut the loom out of another truck and marry it to your truck. If you don't want to do either of these things the fat red wire is almost always hot. The antenna cable is unique and will only fit in one spot. the speaker wires are small diameter and will work no matter which way you hook them up as long as one hot (speaker) wire and one ground wire go to each speaker. Have fun.

1994 Nissan Pickup XE Hardbody..hesitation,horn, starting, radio

I owned one and i regret having to have sold it. I do not know of any ongoing problems with this vehicle. check around your clutch pedal for wires that may be rubbing against it and are grounding out or cut? you can find schematic in manual at parts store and i recommend buying one for your own good. They are a wealth of information about your vehicle.
