When this occurs then u can avoid restarting ur system and still continue to work by following these steps i have tried, it may relax u little, step 1- as this error message appears dont do anything to it, just disconnect the internet, then open task manager, end the process DWWIN.EXE the error message will dissapear, step 2- now connect the internet again and it should work, u can email ur feedbacks at- [email protected]

hi there, try booting your PC to safe mode. power on the computer and quickly tap the F8 key. keep on tapping it until you reach to black screen with different selections. select safe mode then press enter. once you gain access to windows safe mode. click start menu then accessories then system tools then system restore. choose a date where you remember your computer works fine then restore to that date.
Please right click on my computer and then go to properties>advanced>performance settings>data execution prevention and click on above option in two options given then apply and restrt. If it does not resolve the issue try with other browser.
For windows XP & Vista
Check the function after every step.
Step One: Power Cycle with printer 1. Use the On/Off power button to turn off the printer. 2. Disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the printer. 3. Disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet. 4. Allow the printer to sit for at least 30 seconds. 5. Reconnect the USB cable. 6. Reconnect the printer power cable. 7. Turn on the printer using the On/Off power button on the printer Step Two: Disable DEP (Data Execution Prevention). Disable the Data Execution Prevention in Windows Vista and check by following the below steps: 1. Click on Windows Icon. 2. Control Panel->System->Advanced System Setting->Performance->Settings->Data Execution Prevention It needs to be set to "Turn on for essential windows programs only", which is the default. If you set it to "Turn on for all programs except those I specify", then the all-in-one driver stops working and you get blank pages. Alternate Option for DEP ------------------------------------ Right Click on My Computer. Select Properties, under the Advanced tab. Properties --> Settings --> Data Execution Prevention. Step Three: Check the option of Separator page. Please refer the below mentioned web link for better understanding the steps with graphics. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&docname=c01449854 Note:Clicking the link may give an error indicating it is invalid. If this occurs, copy the portion of the address on the remaining line(s) and paste it at the end of the address showing in your browser until the complete address. Step Four: Print directly from printer Spooler bypass *********************
Click on Windows Icon
Click on Printers.
Right Click on HP Officejet All-in-One printer.
Click on Printer Properties
Click on Advanced Tab
Click on the option "Print Directly to the Printer"
Here is my resolution to the error SVCHOST.EXE GENERIC HOST PROCESS OR DEP ERROR
IT DOES NOT INCLUDE DISABLING WIA OR DISABLING DEP (which is a good security feature)
I have tried it on upto 3-4 computers with success and complete software functionality ******************************************* Turn the All in One Off Uninstall the whole of the HP software on the computer Run a level 4 uninstall Start --> Run -->X:\Util\CCC\Uninstall L1.bat Start --> Run -->X:\Util\CCC\Uninstall L2.bat Start --> Run -->X:\Util\CCC\Uninstall L3.bat Start --> Run -->X:\Util\CCC\Uninstall L4.bat
Restart the computer ******************************************* Check the computer on the restart Check if you still get an SVCHOST.EXE GENERIC HOST PROCESS OR DEP ERROR on restart
Start --> Run Type in Msconfig Click OK Click Launch System Restore Run System Restore Create a Restore Point named Hp
Click Start --> Run Type in Regedit Click OK Open Registry Editor Scroll to the following Registry Key
HP Digital Imaging Monitor (hpqtra08.exe) (x:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqtra08.exe)
HP Image Zone Fast Start (hpqthb08.exe) (x:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqthb08.exe)
Generic Host Process for Win32(svchost.exe) (c:\windows\system32\svchost.exe)
Add all these files one by one by browsing to the locations
Click Apply and OK Let the computer restart if prompted ******************************************
Its also at times needed to disable from the Startup of the computer in Msconfig
Hpcmpmgr.exe HPwuSchd2.exe HP Digital Imaging Monitor (hpqtra08.exe) HP Image Zone Fast Start (hpqthb08.exe)
The reason is the above mentioned exceptions to the Data Execution Prevention are loaded after the Startup loads and the DEP may try to shut them down at the startup itself and generate the errors Unchecking the above files does not mean losing any functionality on the All in One all the features should work properly
ok try this then. Press [windows]+Pause/Break to open the system
menu (or control panel -> system) and press advanced systems
settings on the side. Go to the advanced Tab, and press settings. Go
over to the D.E.P. (Data Execution Prevention) tab, and press add, then
add in iTunes and whatever else you need.
Hi, I doubt that this has nothing to do with counterfeiting and you will get a little box in the bottom right hand side of the screen saying so. The problem should be fixed by running a System Restore and take the machine back to a date before the problems occurred.
Be sure to backup your documents and music. Don't wanna lose those.
In XP go to Control Panel
Click the Advanced tab
Click Settings under Performance
Click the Data Execution Prevention tab
Make sure Turn on DEP for all programs is NOT checked, check
Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs.
Ok check out this website and scroll down and it gives you step by step instructions on how to fix this, i hope this points you in the right direction. I would explain it myself but its very simply explained on this website. Any additional questions please contact me i would like to help!
