No sound coming out of any speakers on my nuvo simplese sound sys

What is the solution?
I'm having the same issue.
Nuvo has been installed about 3 months.

check the wires make sure thay are not loose or partial connection

You must have hit the DIRECT button . In this mode it produces pure stereo sound by shutting down the multichannel Digital Sound Processor (DSP). Only your front Left & Right speakers will work

its probably the mute button on the keybard, hitting it again will unmute it. also check in the taskbar, bottom right corner of screen, click on speaker icon and uncheck the mute button.

That indicated there is a short or incorrect wiring on the combus of the keypads.

Remove the keypads from the walls and unplug them one at a time.

Then unplug one at a time from the all-port until it works.

The last one you unplug will be the offender, inspect the cat-5 crimp for a pair or wires that are in the incorrect order.

I asked Nuvo about this and they said that the RS232 port was never setup for control, it is only to be used for programming when they are initially setup by Nuvo.

I have codes for the Essentia and Grand Concerto that I have written but non for the simplease as Nuvo said it cannot be controlled.

1-speaker terminal are short circuit-turn power off and connect speaker terminal properly.
2-ventilation holes are closed--turn it off and make good ventilation around and leave it to cool down and then turn it on.
3-the unit is operating in high power condition turn it off and leave it to cool down and then turn it on.

I have the same problem. All keypads blinking in All Off. I changed the fuses on the Nuvo. No luck. Does anyone have a solution to this?

It sure dosent sound good!! The clicking sound you here are the protection relays to assist in protecting your speakers from blowing out. Your output devices are shorted it sounds like. Do not ever ever attemp to jump out those relays as it will burn out your speakers and possibly burn down your house!. Theres alot of current inthese amps for high power so if your not a tech and you think its worth it take the unit in to be looked at as there are no serviceable user parts inside these units . Sorry to have to tell ya this.. Good Luck
