I'm stuck in Prggressive Mode on my RDR-VX515

My TV doesn't have the ability to do progressive. I could see my menus and get picture and sound. Once I switched to progressive mode I lost my picture but still have sound. Since I can't see the menus anymore I have no way of turning the progressive mode off. I've tried unplugging the machine. There appears to be no button on the machine or remote that allows you to turn the progressive mode off. I need help. :(

I am stuck in Progressive Mode, I did all the options to solve this problem and these did not work for me. I did more than five minutes holding pause, I did turn off enter 369 turn on and I did not solve this problem. What else can I do? I am going to the place I did buy this product looking for help. If somebody have another soluction, please let me know. Thanks

I'm out of progressive mode but stuck in B/W. I've switched back and forth from RCA cable to S-Vid cable with no luck.

I solved the Progressive Mode problem.
I posted my message on Jan 6, 2008
First, I put a movie and I play it.
As I said before, I tried several times using the holding pause for 5 seconds. Then, on the Video Out, I switch the yellow and the white connections and I get lines on the tv. Then, I switch the white and the yellow to its correct position. I stopped the movie, I did hold the pause and in 5 seconds the Progressive light turn off. I feel happynes know. Thanks to God.

Pressing and holding the PAUSE button on the front of the DVD player for 5 seconds. (this is the one that worked for me) Hurray!

pressing the PROGRESSIVE button on the front of the DVD player or P.SCAN button on the remote control to disable the progressive signal.
power off the DVD player and press 369 using the number buttons on the remote control, then power back on the DVD player.
moving the VIDEO OUT switch on the back of the DVD player to the INTERLACED position.
