Suggest you bypass the software and the camera and just pull the SD card out of the camera and insert into an SD reader on your PC. If your computer doesn't have one, a USB SD card reader is available for less than $10, You'll find your photos in a DCIM folder on the card, and you can use ordinary copy/Paste tools to transfer them from the card to a directory on your computer.

Sounds like you need more memory for your computer. If you can navigate to your computer's memory controls, and allow your operating system to use a portion of your hard disk drive (HDD) as RAM (maybe 2Gb or so) it may solve your issue. Otherwise, try creating smaller PDF's even single-page ones, and then use Acrobat's command to 'join' them into a single PDF. You can easily orient the pages later.

Try this
When you have the email downloaded on the Q, go to File Manager and navigate to \Application Data\Volatile. You will see your attachment there - click Menu\File\Copy To.
Then, navigate down to your Storage Card folder (or into a subfolder, if you like), and hit Done.

If your computer has a SD card reader, you might be better off putting your memory card into your computer and just copying the data.
Have you made sure your iPhoto is up to date? Perhaps a new update caused this problem.. Maybe you should try an older version of the software. Also, you might want to try other software. (I think you are on a mac?), you might want to try the software that came with the camera, if it works on your computer.

I had to click on the register button and register my camera for all the features to start functioning. This may be all you need to do.
