Go into my computer, and plug in your mp3 player into the computer. You should see a new button for the mp3 plyr (drive e, i think) click it. U can delete the files form there.

Hi yomgyo...
Try deleting the recordings this way... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BIG WARNING: DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER. Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. ONE MORE BIG WARNING: BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER. Please take time to rate me thumbs up

YOU CAN DELETE YOUR RECORDINGS WHEN YOU CONNECT YOUR MP3 TO YOUR WHEN THE OPTIONS LIKE SONGS,VIDEO OR VOICE COMES CLICK ON VOICE WHICH HAS UR RECORDINGS N DELETE THEM.
HOPE ITS HELPFUL.
all you have to do is go to all songs list....then you have to select a recording (most likely titled MEC(then some numbers) next hold the back arrow down for about three seconds and a little grey list should pop up....select delete song/recording. that's all you have to do.
If you can connect it to a PC with XP on it, and have an iRiver Music Manager; once your device is recognized, you will be able to manually manage files on your iRiver, including deleting any voice recordings on it.
