Its a snap together job But unless you know where to start something will snap. Try the Samsung Tech support for this product. Even if the Back light or inverter or some other do able thing is doable- getting parts may not be so easy for you. So follow their advice for service.

SOURCE: How to remove the back of Samsung 940MW LCD TV

Hello,

You will need to take a small flat blade screwdriver and insert it between the two halves of the case and gently pry the two apart. There are latches around the case that just need a little pressure to release. Once you get a few released the rest will pop open as you pull the halves apart. We have some pictures posted on our web site at: www.ccl-la.com Look in the monitor repair section. THere are several repair guides for different brands with pictures of what the release latches look like. If you have any questions just call us at: 318-447-9040

I hope this helps, If so please rate our solution.

How to remove bios password np900x3a-b01ub?

Remove BIOS password by finding the CMOS battery and removing it (very carefully) for about five minutes and then reinserting. Steps:

(1) Disconnect A/C power and remove the battery.
(2) Remove bottom cover with a phillips head (+) screwdriver. There are 3 screws in a line in access holes across the wide front and
(3) remove the plastic or rubber feet at the corners on the rear side. There are screws hidden under them. There may be screws hidden under the rubber plugs at either side of the smaller access plate in the back edge. Pry plugs out carefully and check.
(4) Then split the case by carefully inserting a very thin stiff piece of plastic or metal at the right back corner and seperate the case halves. (5) Life up the cover and set it aside.
(6) Look for a round battery that has a red/black wire going to it that is just to the right of the cooling duct from the processor and chipset.
(7) Uplug the little white plug that has the red/black wire (very carefully) and let the PC sit for about 5 minutes or so.
(8) Replug it and reassemble in the reverse order and your CMOS password should be gone. You may have to set up CMOS again but that should be covered by your Manual. It can also be downloaded from Samsung.
In working with laptops and notebooks be very careful of static electricity (use a grounding strap) and be very careful and deliberate in your removal of hardware---do not overtighten screws etc.
Good luck...

REPLACEING SCREEN ON G800

Hello,

To replace the screen of the samsung g800, get there appropriate screwdriver and follow the process below;
  1. Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Remove the six screws (two at the bottom are covered by rubber stoppers which are easily removed). You can now remove the battery compartment.
  2. Below you can see the battery cover removed. You now need to disconnect the circled ribbon connector. It attaches like a plug and socket. Simply lift the connector up to unplug it.
  3. Lift the circuit board up to reveal another connector. It attaches like the last one. Unplug this
  4. You can now remove the circuit board. Note that the ribbon running along the right of the circuit board, with the volume buttons at the end, is lightly stuck down with a tacky glue or double sided tape.
  5. Remove the grey part. Note that the ribbon with the camera button at the end is stuck down lightly. Next remove the four screws.
  6. Part of the slider can now be removed.
  7. Next remove the two rubber stoppers at the top of the phone to reveal two more screws. Remove the four screws.
  8. Remove the ribbon which is stuck to the black rectangle. It'll just peel back.
  9. Run your plastic tool all the way around the join of the front cover to unclip it.
  10. Lift the screen away from the phone at the point on the opposite side. The screen is stuck down lightly with double sided tape.
  11. You should now have the LCD removed.
  12. Turn the LCD screen over and remove all the green tape you see. You now need to detach a number or ribbons. The ribbon attaches like a plug and socket. All the other ribbons have a hinge which you need to flick up to release.
  13. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
Take care

How to replace latch

The latch is incorporated into the palm rest which you can buy on Ebay for around 25 bucks.

The simplist way to do this is to remove all the bottom case panels to make sure there are no hidden screw holes. Remove the connectors on the wireless card, remove the battery and the three black screws inside the battery compartment. Remove the screw and the dvd drive. Remove all the screws from the bottom case. Turn the laptop back over and remove the power button cover, start prying the cover up on the right side, it will come off as long as you removed the three screws from the battery compartment. Once the cover is off, press on the small indentions around the edge of the keyboard, this will release the keyboard. Release the keyboard cable clipand remove the keyboard. Unplug all the cables from the motherboard and unplug all the flat cables from the palmrest to the motherboard. There are several screws holding the palmrest to the bottom case assembly. Remove these screws and note their location. Once the screws have been removed, start working the palmrest free from the bottom case half, if all screws have been removed will pop apart, lift it from the back and tilt it toward the front and lift the palmrest away.

Ceaning inside of fan

With a little more detail on how to clean the 84001. There are 2 screws at the top of the unit on the back side and 1 on the bottom with a small removable cover. Remove those screws and the cover can be removed.
There will be some resistance towards the middle because of 2 clips on both sides. Be carefull not to pull too hard on the ends ; possibility of breaking the cover. Try pressing on center of the cover on one side of the edge.
There are 2 screws holding a bracket that holds the top of the fan. Remove those screws. Then on the bottom there is a shaft that attaches to the motor. You will find a set screw that you need to loosen. When you loosen and remove squirrel cage you will notice a flat spot on shaft. That is where the set screw is to be put when assembling the fan back together.
After cleaning just follow the steps back to assemble your 84001 and enjoy a clean brisk breeze. I hope this helps explain in more detail on how to clean it.

Fixing Your Samsung SCD107 Camcorder by bawhitmer
push the "EASY Q" button. After a few minutes it popped up and started working again. Problem is, after 5 minutes it went to black again
surgery that it had a bad CCD and possibly the CCD control board. In any case you can find both at tigerdirect.partsearch.com with part# AD97-08366A. This is the CCD and Board assembly and is around $56.00. If you think that you might just need the Control Board then its part# is AD97-08367A and is around $19.00. In any case neither operation requires any soldering as the ribbon cables just unclip from their sockets.
*Before proceeding with this surgery make sure that you take note to where all the screws you remove go back. Also be sure to remove all screws completely.
Step 1 (Front Cover Removal): Remove battery then remove top silver screw just in front of the "nite pix" switch. Then lift the DVI cover to locate and remove the second silver screw. Then, with the camera lens and light facing you roll the front cover to the right(it can only really roll one way) while pulling the front cover at the same time. Its held in by a clip. When its free disconnect the light connector if it hasn't already come off during the front cover removal.
Step 2 (Splitting the Case): Remove five(5) silver screws from the bottom. If you count them there are a total of eight(8) so remove all EXCEPT the one screw at the tripod boss AND the two screws on the tape door. Next, proceed to remove the two black screws located in the battery tray in the back. Then flip the camera so you are looking at the hand strap, DVI cover, etc... Locate the two black screws by the "Slow Shutter" switch and remove. Next, flip up the eye piece and remove only the right screw. *Be sure to remove this screw completely because it is held in place by a threaded stud plate and it could fall out and bounce into that other dimension where all important little things go. The case should now be ready to split. Gently work the case in two and pay attention to the ribbon cables as you separate the two halves.
Step 3 (CCD and Board removal) The CCD and Control Board are removed as one unit. Remove all ribbon cables attached to the board. If the ribbon cable socket has a long brown bar across the top flip it up and remove the cable. If it has two brown buttons on the left and right of it then pull each button out and remove cable. *Take note to the orientation of the cable in the socket ie up or down. Unplug any remaining power wire sockets on the board. The board itself is held in by two(2) screws. Locate and remove these screws and lift the CCD and Control Board Unit out.

CONGRADULATIONS !

For installation, read these instructions backwards.

Remove battery cover and battery. There are four small screws visible on the rear cover, remove those. Wiggle and distort the back cover a little at the bottom of the phone until it pull partly free from the phone, slide a guitar pick or small flat blade screwdriver between the phone and the rear cover, at the side of the phone, pry this cover off until it snaps free. You will see the main board now. Remove the two screws holding this board on, carefully fold it back towards the battery area. The main ribbon cable is visible now. Remove a green tape on the socket where the ribbon cable joins the board. pull the ribbon away from the board gently and use a screwdriver or something else to cut the adhesive between the board and the cable. The socket has a hinged brown piece closest to where the cable comes in, that flips up to release the cable. The small cable coming from the number pad is removed by gently prying up the rectangular connector from the board. Now with the board free you can remove six screws from the plastic backing plate, and remove that plate from the slider assembly (one of the screws is hidden by a piece of green tape). On the front half of the phone there are six small screws on the rear side (the camera side). Four are visible, two are hidden behind rubber plugs at the top of the phone. Separate the chrome trim from the backing plate by starting at the bottom of the phone, by the key pad, and it may be stuck from a little day-to-day dirt but separate it there, then swing the bottom end out and release the front cover from the two clips that hold the top end together. You now can separate the ribbon cable from the screen assembly in a similar way as you did with the other end of the cable. Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly. Be sure to replace the pieces of tape, and the wire mesh shield attached to them, they serve to prevent radio frequency interference between parts of this device, and between this device and others.

Good luck, and happy dreams.
