Cant get to set up menu on yamaha htr-5560 without remote

Have no remote and cant find one to replace it with

That is a real problem, the remote is vital to the settup. Go to www.ebay.com Type: make and model you may get lucky, this is one of the few sites that sells old and the new products that you normally don't see.

HTR-5750: How to access menu without remote control?

Unfortunately, you need the remote or a universal remote which matches the original remote to access the menus. The manual for the HTR-5750 is available here: https://usa.yamaha.com/files/download/other_assets/5/319575/HTR_5750_5740.PDF Amazon lists a few vendors with an equivalent remote.

Do Yamaha HTR-5560 receivers have a ground wire plug in?

If your receiver has a metal cabinet you can use any of the screws that hold the cabinet on.

What year was Yamaha Htr-5560 made and what year discontinued? My brother said he gave it to me in the late 90's... It still works! Have I had it that long?

Yamaha 5560 no sound from front left and right speakers. There is sound from center and back surround speakers.

hi,
just check by fault switched of the frond speakers. power on the receiver play some thing listen sound is coming from the other speaker except frond. press the speaker A button in frond of the receiver. listen is it become on. if not got to the menu of ur receiver surf for speaker configuration . find out the whether the frond speaker is off. if it off turn it on.

Volume on my yamaha htr-5560 is broken. Doesn't matter which way you spin it or how fast, sometimes it gets louder and sometimes softer.

Only way to fix this problem, is to replace volume encoder. Ease repair and inexpensive part.

Yamaha HTR-5560 6.1 no video output

It appears that the composite video in/out is not working. I didn't have a TV with an S-video to test with. Since there were only two video devices for input, I routed their composite video output to an a/b switch. Works great, and sounds great.......
