The screws broke off when trying to remove the tv stand from my LG 42lg30. Is there any other way to remove the base stand? thanks

If you broke one of the base stand screw you will need to do as follow:

Remove the remaining screws of the stand and try to remove the stand, if you cant you will need to remove the back cover of the TV and then you will be able to remove the stand, remove the broken screw and put it all back.

It is pretty easy but if you feel you cant do it let me know and I can give you a detailed step by step guide.

I feel your pain. We in the service industry see this every day with those off brand sets that are sold at discount stores of which I cannot say. Please stay with brands you have heard of most of your life and you stand a better chance of getting a resolution to a problem with it.

What are the best High Def Settings to use for an analog TV with high definition and standard cable television to optimize the picture's resolution? The TV is a Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-27FS100 27 I'd also like to know if a 3 ended video cable with red, green, and blue labeled jacks and a cable splitter is the ideal way to optimize the picture of this analog TV with cable or if there's an adapter to HDMI or something else that's suggested? I have the original Sony remote, too, if switching any settings there makes sense. I'd also like to know if there's a way to "turn up the picture" to eliminate red, green and blue stripes at the top of the screen since a cable firmware or HD technology had taken place. Help! I cannot figure out the karaoke delay between a wireless karaoke system I bought on Amazon and my Sony Bravia X900 series. The tv and sound bar only have hdmi and optical input/outputs. No rca jacks. The current setup is hdmi tv arc to karaoke system arc and aux cord from karaoke system to soundbar. It said to adjust PCM settings (not sure I did that correctly) but the delay is terrible and ruining my life... grateful for any help!
