Need driver for Lion OSX
I've got a solution where you won't spend any dime on it. It's a long road, but in few words, you need to install SANE for Mac, get the SnapScan1212U.bin file (you can get it from the Windows Installer), and a scanning software such as Snac for Mac, and/or Adobe Acrobat X.
I'll prepare a HOWTO only if someone really needs it.

Have you tried the official one? It's supposed to work on all versions of OSX.

Hi Everyone.
I resolved this by trying a few universal scanner applications. The Vue Scan software by Hamrick, works fine with Lion OSX and the Agfa 1212 is happy and I am as well. On 10.5 on another Mac I am using the Apple built in Preview software which recognizes the scanner.
No need to throw away a good scanner.
Cheers

the latest Agfa driver is good for 10.5 I think, not sure about 10.6 .

As I said my Snapscan 1212 is now operating fine with Vue Scan on Mac OSX 10.7 ( Lion)
