Suspect Convergence IC's STK4274, part Number 2003191. Replace all three IK04(red), IK05(green), IK06(blue).

My AKAI 42 rear projection self focus set has blue shadows on everything and too much red, I cant seem to adjust it and self focus does not help?

Makaba is incorrect. This set does not use the STK IC's found in many rear projection sets.
All you need is a $3 fuse and be sure to resolder the joints at the flyback.
