Cant download M rated demos

This means the account your using is under the age of 17. When you created it as under the age of 17 and you cant download any M material. An easy fix is to make another account with a higher age than needed and download the stuff on that account. You are able to access the stuff you download on the 17+ account on the other account, and it doesn't cost any money to create another silver account. Hope this helps!

This sounds like you have got parental controls set, if this is the case,these are password protected so get who ever set the account up to remove them.

Cancelling the DEMO MODE is explained on page 29... as follows....

Select the Demonstration mode
Push the Control knob to [FM] or [AM].
Select the "DEMO" display.


Set the Demonstration mode
Press the Control knob for at least 2 seconds.
Each time the knob is pressed at least 2 seconds,
the Demonstration mode switches "on" or "off"

It only means that the account you created on xbox live is a CHILD ACCOUNT ( its below 18 years old ). you wont be able to download any M rated contents using a child account.

You wont be able to change the age because the system recognizes you as a child profile.

Here is a step you can try.
1. Create an adult account. make sure that the birthdate you enter is your dad's age. or ask permission. ( Create a silver membership for free )
2. Download M rated contents using the adult account and you can access the contents using the child account.
Note:
As long as you use the same xbox 360..

Are there any other Xbox live accounts on your xbox? And you're sure there's no parental controls on that account?

• I think maybe your Windows Live id that is used when you sign in might be automatically knowing your age? if you're under 18, I think it blocks mature ratings automatically.

You could do a couple google searches, but I'm pretty sure it wont let you download Above Teen rated content if you're underage, UNLESS, the parent email can be used to sign in and change the rating limitations.(I think the parent email was used when initially setting up the xblive account on the xbox.

Did you set up the account, or did your parents?

I don't think this may have helped you at all, but I had to try, and give some input. As I was in this predicament once also, What I did was had to sign in to xbl, and goto manage account, and somewhere in those settings I found the restrictions on ratings. But I belive it asks for a parent to sign in or something. (but i used my 2ndary e-mail when it told me to enter parent e-mail, so I guess that's a little different.

try deleting the demo/game and downloding it again but DO NOT DOWNLOAD IN BACKGROUND! i had he same issue and i just re-downloaded it and put telly on. when i came back, the game had installed and was working fine

How old are you? if you are under the age of 18 it may require you to get a new gamer tag. I know this happened in my case. Once i ot a new gamertag to download with i was fine just say you are 18. If it still doesnt work call 18004myxbox and they will take care of it.

Demo is activated / de-activated by holding a combination of
two buttons on the tv front for at least four seconds. Try menu &
power or vol up & chan up...........T.
