CONTINUAL DISCONNECTION OF WIRELESS CONNECTION
There are a few things that can cause you to lose wireless connection with your wireless router. 1. Weak signal strength, check the signal strength on your wireless card. If it is weak move the wireless router away from brick or concrete walls, mirrors, fish tanks and if possible locate the wireless router higher up. 2. Have you secured your wireless router from people near your from unauthorized access? i.e. change the default password, setup encryption use WPA2 or WPA, change the default SSID, and turn off SSID broadcast, and for added protection, enable MAC address filtering which allows only the MAC address/es of your wireless card/s to connect to your wireless router. 3. You could be getting interference from electrical sources such as air conditioners, arc welders, washing machines etc. If so, the power supply to the wireless routers and computers etc should be connected to a surge protection power board, better still connect your computer equipment to an UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply). 4. Check the channels of the wireless routers and access points in your area and change the broadcast channel on your wireless router to an unused channel or one that is currently used but has the weakest signal strength. This will minimize interference with your wireless router from other wireless routers and access points in your area.

LogiTech MX5500 keyboard is dropping-out / loosing connection

The best cleaning solution I found in over 30 years of experience with computers is the shower head with hot water at full strenght. I always cleaned all my keyboards this way and I never had the slightest problem but don't forget to remove the batteries before in the case of a Wireless keyboard. The trick is to firmly shake the keyboard during cleaning and especially after cleaning after cleaning and let it dry during a couple of days with regular shaking to make sure to remove all the water droplets that could have remained caught. Two days of drying is madatory before to reinstall the batteries back into the keyboard in the case of a wireless keyboard or to plug it into your computer by the USB cable if you really want to make sure not to kill your keyboard or worst, your computer... This being said, I bet all I have that it has absolutely nothing bat all as concern the frequent keyboard disconnection problem. To tell you the truth, Logitech products are nothing but shitt and they don't take care of the sustainability of their products because their marketing strategy is to offer a very poor technical support combined with poorly designed products in order to force their customers to regularly change their hardware just to increase their sales because it is much more profitable for them to act that way than to sell trouble free durable products. In other words they don't want you to have a long pleasurable experience with their products because they prefer to sell you the same item several times during a given amount of time than to sell this item just once for the same duration and that's the reason why they make so many software updates to make sure that you will end up with an undetectable and unusable device soon or late...

Why do I get disconnected from google talk frequently

That's only a little glitch, friend. Scan your computer for possible spyware or adware because they are also the reason why connection is on and off

I have an MX5000 wireless keyboard and mouse; it frequently loses contact and the only way to restore, is to reboot the computer. Is there a fix?

Are you sure your system forfills the system requirements on the MX5000. I once had a wireless keyboard and mouse and because my stem was not in the specifications it frequently lost connection too. You could also try re-installing the drivers. You can find them on the Logitech support page.

Lose connectivity betw Logitech Cordl and base

You probably have a cordless telephone or wireless network connection that is periodically blasting the frequency band that your trackman uses.  The only solution is switching to different frequency bands on these devices.  If you can simply unplug these gadgets for a few hours you can identify the culprit.

Stoped functioning

Normal 0 Turn the Keyboard over and locate the small reset/connect button on the back of the keyboard and press it. Then try to see if it is working. If not try pressing the button on the receiver and then on the keyboard.
If your having trouble with the mouse also,
turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps. Bud

I need to frequently clean the inside of my Acer 5610-4534 laptop...I have never disassembled one before; can you help me to get it open?

1fd22a3.jpg
Insert a small flathead screwdriver under the keyboard bezel and carefully lift it up. Continue releasing plastic latches and removing the keyboard bezel with your fingers

65c2000.jpg
Be careful, on some models the bezel might be connected to the motherboard as it shown on the picture above. If you accidentally pulled the cable, connect it back. It is not necessary to disconnect the keyboard bezel from the motherboard in order to remove and replace the keyboard, just put it aside so you can access the keyboard screws.

Remove three (or more) screws from the top of the keyboard. Carefully lift up the keyboard from the laptop case

2e7bf96.jpg
The keyboard connects to the motherboard via a flat ribbon cable. Before you pull the cable from the connector, you’ll have to unlock the connector.

The image above illustrates how to unlock the keyboard connector. Carefully move the connector lock 2-3 millimeters up and after that pull the keyboard cable. To install the keyboard, follow the above mentioned steps in the reverse order.
