Try this general bush unlock:
Press Open tray
Press 2, 8, 1, 2 and Enter to get to the manufacturers settings
Select the required region, by pressing Enter on 9 for multi region
Press Close tray
If that didn't work, try this:
Try this one:
1. Press the
Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray
2. Press the
9 button on your remote control
3. Press the
7 button on your remote control
4. Press the
3 button on your remote control
5. Press the
5 button on your remote control
6. Using the on screen menu, highlight the region option
7. Press the
Right button on your remote control
8. Using your remote control, select
1 for region 1,
2 for region 2, and so on, or
0 for multi-region playback
9. Press the
Enter button on your remote control
10. Press the
Open button on your remote control to close the drive tray
Then there is the following and good luck:
Bush 1000
- Open the tray
- Insert a disc with desired region code, but do not close the disc tray
- Press 0, 1, 2, 3, Play
Bush 1005 / 2004A / DVDAV7
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE on the remote
- Press 3, 3, 0, 8, 8
- Press the button for the desired region or 0 for multi-region
- Press OPEN/CLOSE
- The on-screen display will now indicate the currently selected region
Bush 2000
- Open the disc tray
- Insert RC-1 DVD, don't close the disc tray
- Press 0, 1, 2, 3
- Press PLAY
To activate RC 2:- Open the disc tray
- Insert RC-2 DVD, don't close the disc tray
- Press RETURN and PLAY
Bush 2002 / 2004
- Press OPEN
- Press 7, ENTER, 7
A menu should appear (codefree=13)
Method 2:- Press OPEN
- Press 2, 0, 0, 1
Bush 2005 / 2008 / 2009
- Turn on the player
- Press OPEN/CLOSE
- Press ZOOM
- Press A/B
- Press Up, Left, Down, Right
A note should be displayed. - Turn it off
- Turn it on
Bush 2023 / 2024 / 2523
- Press OPEN
- Press 2, 8, 1, 2, Enter
- Set the country code to 13 and press Close
Bush 2028

- Press OPEN
- Press PROG
- Press ENTER three times
- Use UP/DOWN to select region
- Press STOP several times to set the region
Bush 2047
- Press OPEN, SETUP
- Go to "Preferences"
- Enter 2, 8, 1, 2
- Use UP/DOWN keys to select the region
- Press SETUP, OPEN
Bush DVD-102
- Press OPEN/CLOSE
- Press 2, 0, 0, 1
- Press ENTER
- Select RC (codefree=13). You can disable MacroVision, too.
- Press OPEN/CLOSE
Bush DVD-142TV
- Press DVD function on your TV set
- Press DVD Setup on the remote
- Press 1, 3, 6, 9
- Press Left three times
- Press RIGHT once
- Select VERSION
- Change the region code
Bush DVD-143TV
- Press DVD/TV, DVD
- Open the tray
- Press SETUP, Right, Left, Down, Up, Display
- Enter 0 (or 1-6 for other RC)
- Press Enter
VCD/SVCD playback- Press SETUP on remote
- Press Next, Prev, Next, Prev
Ver should appear in the top right - Change 3001 to 3000
- Change 5001 to 5000
Bush DVDAV11K
- Open the tray (be sure to be in stop mode)
- Press SETUP, Next, Prev, Next, Prev
- Select 255 for region free (use LEFT/RIGHT)
- Press SETUP
Bush DVDR3000
- The disc tray has to be empty
- Press TV/DVDR
- Press RETURN, DISPLAY
- Enter 8, 8, 8, 0
Bush DVHS1
- Press the DVD button on the remote
- Press OPEN
- Press 0, 5, 2, 0
- Press UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT
- Change the region (0 = multi-region)
Bush DVRHS02
- Push SETUP button on the remote
- Select SYSTEM INFO on the menu
- Enter 1, 1, 0, 1
- It shows the current region code
- Push 0 on the remote for region free
