SOURCE: XBL router problems

please call dlink tech support at 877-453-5465. just an advise on how to handle the call when you reach dlink tech support (agent); do not agree to call back after you troubleshoot with them (they'll be giving you a case id reference# and be advising you to check your pc or call "who" and call them back to continue the troubleshooting). insist to the agent that he need to resolve the problem asap (by the way, agents are not allowed to drop the call or they'll be dead-history!). and if the agent still insisted you to call back, ask for a "senior level technician" to finish the job (escalate the problem).
fyi: dlink tech support handling time to resolve a call is 15 to 18 minutes only. if you reach that 15-18 minutes (max) time the agent will think of a way for you to call back (advising you to check with your pc manufacturer, check with your ISP, call microsoft to update your software, etc... non-sense!) they need to do this in order to reach their handling time (agents need to reach 21 to 25 billable calls, and billable calls are "solution provided", "resolved", and "dropped call"). ---- believe me, i was one of them and repented.

SOURCE: How to set UDP & TCP port for Echolink

First I assume that you simply posted this under "Linksys > WRT" by mistake and you are using a D-Link router.
How to set up the ports for Echolink:

  1. Go to this page (link).
  2. Choose the correct router model (almost at the end of the page)
  3. skip the advertisement on the next page (upper right corner)
  4. choose "Echolink" from the list.
  5. Simply follow the instructions.
  6. Voila!
In general: Make sure that your Windows Firewall is not blocking the application (see Control Panel -> Windows Firewall -> Exceptions) (details also here). You have to allow UDP destination ports 5198-5199 between Internet and PC in both directions and allow TCP (source port any, destination port 5200) from PC to Internet.

If you have any more questions, just come back and leave a comment - I am happy to help!

SOURCE: How do i forward ports with an WRTSL54GS Linksys

open 192.168.1.1 in your web browser, the password is 'admin' when on factory settings (no username)
There will be a lot of options, You will want the Applications/Gaming section. Enter the ranges, set it to both for protocol, then enter the last number of the ip address of the device you want the ports forwarded to. For the port 47624 just enter that number in both the start and end section. Good luck!

How do i open my udp port 16000 in my firewall?

To manually open a port, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, and then click My Network Places.
  2. Under Network Tasks, click View Network Connections. (Or, right-click My Network Places on the desktop, and then click Properties.)
  3. Right-click the connection that you use for the Internet, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings(Note: If the Settings button is unavailable, ICF is not enabled on this connection, and you do not have to open any ports (because they are all already open).
  5. Click Add to open a new port.
  6. In the Description box, type a friendly name. For example, type File Sharing : Port 445.
  7. In the Name or IP address of the computer hosting this service on your network box, type 127.0.0.1.(Note: You can specify the IP address of an internal computer. But you typically will use 127.0.0.1.)
  8. In the External port and Internal port boxes, type the port number. Generally, this number is the same.
  9. Click either TCP or UDP, and then click OK.
  10. Repeat steps 1 through 9 for each port that you want to open.
