I have a sony kp-61hs10 and will not turn on,,,,,,,,, it is blinking once a second, every second with no delay,,,, the sony blink codes says its "no reply from jungle IC301 (data bus is busy, shorted to ground or high yield) IK video path is defective"...... What does this mean and can I fix it, or is it going to cost me a ton of money????? I am very handy and can fix anything............ Please let me know if this is worth fixing, or having someone come out or should I trash the unit and replace it.....Thanks Tom
If you know how to trouble shoot solid state electronics and know how the curcuits work, then Im sure you can handle this repair. But my friend a tv set is not a place for a handy man to be experimenting around inside of, as there is alot of high voltage inside this set even when its turned off! Its best if you do not know all of the safty issues to seek out a pro to assist you in this repair. It could be a bad solder connection, or a bad filter capacitor that supplys the B+ to the video chip. Without looking at a schematic and tracing the circuit, its all a guess. There are no real user replacable parts inside this set. Good Luck PS please do not forget to rate this thread.
