My imate did this one day as well. I suddenly lost all cell phone service. I tried all manner of resets, all manner or flight mode on and off, which occasionally retoggles the device to remember it's a phone and then----I spent two hours on the phone with T-Mobile. At the end of the second hour, the right person told me that a local tower (for Greater Boston) was down. I just was not accustomed to this type of outage at noon time on a weekday.

I would suggest you to Check it with different simcards if it is not registering any of the sim cards:- Step One Locate the reset hole, which is just large enough for you to insert the end of an unwound paper clip, and press gently for a "soft" reset. You don't have to use a paper clip if you've styles fits, but don't use anything sharp, such as a safety pin. Step Two If the soft reset doesn't snap your PDA back to attention, the next step is a "warm" reset, which bypasses potentially troublesome system extensions. Repeat the reset procedure in step 2, but hold down the Page Up button on the front of your PDA while doing so. Step Three If the warm reset doesn't Work, then your only recourse is a "hard" reset. The hard part about this is that you'll lose all the data and preferences in your PDA. Before proceeding with the hard reset, replace the batteries in your PDA to make sure the old ones aren't just spent. Check also that the contrast isn't turned down HARD RESET PROCEDURE Repeat the reset procedure in step 1, but this time hold down the power button while you reset. This should return your PDA to the way it came from the box. If after all this you are still not able to register then, i am afraid that you'll have to Take it to the nearest service center
