USB ports not working Acer Aspire laptop

My USB ports are not working. The Acer Aspire 3002LCi notebook came with three USB ports. I checked in device manager and found that the system believed all were working propelry. I uninstalled them anyway and then reinstalled them. When finished i found that one of the 3 was showing a problem in the device manager and I was able to get the printer to work using one of the ports but not the mouse. I am not the best with PC's and would just assume replace all three USB ports ... but I worry that I won't buy the right thing. Any advice?

Don't buy an ACER next time. They are cheap shit and you won't get any help from Acer. They just get you to erase your harddrive and restore it to its original settings.

Two solutions would be to either restore your pc to before the problem started, using system restore on accesories menu, or use the recovery cd or the recovery folder Acer laptops usually have on the 'D' drive and re-install usb controllers and drivers.
