Dear joe, I had the same problem when my refrigerator was broken. You need to re-program the control panel as follows: 1. First you need the Program Code for your fridge. It is on the plate on the inside of your fridge, on the same plate that has your Model # and Serial # on it. 2. Programming is done with the refrigerator doors open. 3. Press and hold the Door Alarm keypad on the control panel. 4. Then press and hold the Freezer Temperature Down keypad. 5. Then release the Door Alarm keypad and wait 3 seconds. 6. The control pad will then display PE to indicate it's in programming mode. 7. Entry is confirmed by pressing the Freezer Temperature down keypad once more. 8. The control panel will display the current program code. It should be the same one that I asked you to find in Step 1. 9. If the program code is the correct one, exit the programming mode by closing the refrigerator doors. 10. If the program code is not the correct one for your refrigerator, press the Refrigerator Temperature Up or Down to change the value with each keypress. 11. The decimal point indicates the selected digit. Press the Freezer Temperature Up or Down to select the next digit. 12. Once the desired program code is displayed, press and hold the Freezer Temperature down keypad until the program code begins flashing, indicating that it's been saved. 13. Again, when you're done, exiting the program mode is done by closing the refrigerator doors. Hope this helps alot of people out there. I'm not sure what the problem is at Maytag, but they're extremely slow in getting parts shipped for their units. The local Maytag repair people have indicated to me that they are seeing an overwhelming number of Maytag refrigerators needing repairs that are around the one year age range. They say the quality of the new units is terrible.

Need to purchase a wkkt model no.0158-00-01

Yes I do need a new control board. One of the four relay's will not hold an open circuit. Continues to click on and off not allowing the compressor to kick in. Therefore neither the refrigerator or freezer will cool. I considered replacing the relay only but being in operation since 2004 I figured replacing the whole board would be a good percautionary measure.

Replaced bad circuit board and now we cant program

There is always the cance of a lemon when buying elecrtonics but there should have been instructions that came with the new board that will instruct on the set up of the new board. If not I would give the manufacturer a call and they usually have a tech line that may be able to talk you through it. Good luck

Please help me I have a samsung refrigerator cooltech plus but no could refrigerator & frizer

Unplug the refrigerator first. In the back of the refrigerator at the bottom is a metal panel. Remove that panel and off to the right side of it should be a white looking plastic box. Unscrew that box from the fridge and open it up to get to the circuit board. Remove ALL harnesses from the circuit board and capacitor. After doing so plug them all back in and reassemble everything back together and plug in the fridge. This should reset the board and allow it to function correctly. I hope this helps you. Best of luck.

Fan not turning clicking in back

Hi. This will indicate that the Main circuit board(PCB), which is located in the back, middle or lower rear panel, has failed. This clicking noise is the result of a failed relay, on this particular board. The main board directs the necessary power to this fan circuit when commanded by the control sector. This type of circuit damage will cause all components within the unit to fail, thus, not allowing optimal performance. I would advise to replace this damaged board, asap. Once replaced, the unit will operate normally.

GE PROFILE FRIG PSS26PSTASS

The recall reads (in part):

GE Consumer & Industrial places a very high priority on product quality and customer satisfaction and thus continuously assesses our product reliability. Recent analysis has discovered a potential problem with the main circuit board on a limited number of refrigerator models, which could lead to lower than anticipated life expectancy on that component. Therefore, if the main circuit board fails, GE Consumer & Industrial will replace this part free of charge to the consumer until further notice.

The models affected are side-by-side plastic liner, side-by-side metal liner, bottom freezer two door and bottom freezer French door. The models were produced between May 2005 and August 2006 (HH – RL serial range) and are included in this program.

Potential Additional Covered Parts:

Specific parts involving the failure of the main board are included in this program. These parts are limited to the following:

-Evaporator Fan failure, only if accompanied by a Main Board failure

-Dispenser Board failure, only if accompanied by a Main Board failure

Maytag mbf2258hew replace jazz board

bug, the jazz board is pretty easy to replace. The light cover will slide off toward the back. Now if you look behind the control panel you will see two slots. Take a flat blade screw driver and push the cover tabs in while pulling down on the cover. The cover will come down. Two slats slide in on the front and will release, disconnect the harnesses and install the new board. Reverse the process. Catriver.
