Pioneer cdxfm128 12 disc changer

Have error code 11 and sometimes code 12 the display shows what cd is in but starts flashing after that and then shows codes

ERR 11 Means your Disc or one of them is upside down, all must be correct or none of them will load. that means printed side down, and it counts disc's from bottom to top. So the disc on the bottom of the cassette is disc 1 and the one on top is disc 12.

    how about programin a remote to it i ordered a remote for it its a cxa7036 but i cant get it to work withe the cdx128 please help this was my mothers car and she pasted away and its means alot if anybody could help

Dirt or a scratch on the disc stops the laser
beam from being able to focus.
Dirt or a scratch on the disc hinders the track

Clean or replace scratched disk.

Hi,I have had this Pioneer CDX FM67 mounted on my bike for 5 yrs and it always played good and showed no problems.This year every time I load some cds in the player nothing happens and then I get an error...
It relates to the failure of the loading section. So check on the linking wires/flexible strip to the load motor- this is a ccommon fault and is seen most of the time.
Secondly the tray with CD can get strck due to a faulty disc- being warped. if so manually retrieve and reset.
finally there is a tiny hole near to the eject which can reset the changer if this has hung up or is jammed.
Open the covers and probe.

I get the message "error 11". What does it mean?
Error 11 is disk dirty, disc scratched, or mechanical failure. Try a lens cleaner. If that does not work, the CD player is bad.

Pioneer cdx p670 error 60 when trying to switch from radio mode to cd the display shows error-60. The cd-changer unit got a bit wet since the trunk was leaking, but it does load cds. thanks !
this means it is not reading any disks. put new disks in unit try the remote that comes with this unit.

Error 11
Error 11 and or Error 17 is mean that CD is dirty or scratch, and the optic can not detect CD track.
Solved problem:
1. Clean the CD
2. Change open source by push knob going to "CD" display or push "search" from remote to "CD" display
3. If still come out Error 11, change the MP3 CD by Original CD with clean track CD.
4. For the last step, clean the optic sensor by CD cleaner for a few minute.
5. Check and try to play the CD again.

10 disc changer shows error code or no cd
maybe the lens in covered with dust , try to clean it , or it is broken. Who knows , break the device and see it for yourself. good luck

Error code 11 - pioneer avic 1r
From Pioneer;

"Error code 11 is more specific, however, indicating that the player’s read laser cannot focus properly, most likely due to a fault with the disc."

Try a different CD, or you may have to have the laser cleaned.
