Question about Canon PIXMA MP830 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Hi muffin, Turn off the machine, open the document cover, and then release the scanner lock switch. You'll see it. Any other problems let me know. Peace, Dude

Try to print and I get an error msg: collecting printer status OR a msg. that says it failed to print. Cleared out the print queue and still dosn't work. At first the printer was offline but I corrected that. I have another printer on the network but neither will print. Any suggestions?
thanks,
Andy

My printer just quit printing. Get an error msg. that says collecting printer status. Cleared out my queue and no luck. I have another printer on the network and same thing happens when I try to print with it. All connections are good and the printer is online. Just tried to update Cannon drivers and they are current. Appreciate any suggestions.

1. Click Start, Devices and Printers
2. Right-click the printer whose job you want to cancel, and select See what's printing from the context menu.
3. The print queue will pop up. Right-click the runaway print job, and then click Cancel from the context menu.
hope this helps

On my school, I have 8 scanners which have the same problem. So never buy Canon products again. No help at the support!
