Discs stuck inside CD Player. Screen says ''Reading.''

Screen says "reading." When I try to press the open button to retreive the CDs, the screen says "open," but the door does not open, and none of the CDs will play. The FM, Aux, and Tape decks work fine.

CD does not properly eject. May come part way out and immediately go back in and play. May pause half-way out, and can be grabbed and pulled out. It does complain when I do that.

Try resetting the CD (Cambridge soundworks) by unplugging, then repluging. Then hold down the eject button while you turn on the power.

The cd player in my car is A56820, JBL, it will load and eject cf's but not read. any fixes?

Did you get all of the CDs out of the player or are any still
stuck inside the stereo? Its the part about everything working
OK until a disc changed that makes me ask.
If a disc is jammed because it didn't load properly, you won't
be able to get all your discs out.

Cd player is not reading cds. When the play button is pressed, the player tries to read the disc initially, but fail. If any other button is pressed after, still in the cd mode, nothing happens

clean it with cd lense cleaner and see what happen.

When i press cd on my radio it constantly says reading on the screen but no sound is coming out.i have a classic beetle and it needs music

The problem normally is to the reading head. You have to open the player find the head and clean it with a cotton stick very gently. Then try to listen a cd. If it works it's ok, or else your head is broken and you have to replace it thing that I am not suggesting because of the high cost of the head.

2004 Jetta CD Player Won't Read CD's

I had the same problem when I first got it. I realized that the problem was the CD I was putting in. The CD player will NOT read burned RW CDs. I hope that helps! But it will read burned R CDs and ones from the store.

Getting errors reading the first (data) track on mixed-mode CD, what can i do? get error message "TABLE ERROR"

The CD Player platter does not spin or displays Table Error.
Follow this procedure when the platter of a CD Changer does not spin or displays Table Error.

Open the door to the unit.
Press the center button in the Jog Dial, and attempt to remove all the CD's in the unit. NOTES:
- Verify that all the discs that were installed in the unit are removed. If all the discs do not come out, the unit will need service.
- If the player is not operating correctly, reinstalling CDs may damage the CDs.
Attempt to rotate the platter with all discs removed. If the platter rotates, install a few discs to verify operation.
If the platter does not spin when the unit is empty, service will be required.

Also are you getting any other specific error codes, if so, please let me know what they are.
