Replace EEPROM IC.+ solder any/all bad connects,
esp.tuner circuitry ground connections.
OR--cut open the trace between U1901 IC and
Q1903-E to restore sound.

I have this TV. My father in law tried to turn it on one day and it started making a clicking sound and never came on. So he went out and bought a new tv and gave it to me. It came on when I brought it home and worked for a couple weeks. Then just the other day it stopped working. When you hit the power button the light around it blinks four times and then you here a clicking sound. TV does not come on. Took the back panel off and I don't see any damaged caps or fuses.
Check your all capasitors of pwd supply any capasitor is lickege or short or not work poperly if you cann't find any problem replace your all capasitors of pwd supply and check your pwd supply's Transistor or Mosfet or
Check your Horizonetal Transistor or Mosfet may be it is damaged
The fuse is blowning because most likely when you plugged it it, it took a power surge. And the power surge blow a proection diode. As long as you opened it up... in the power section you will see a bunch of diodes. Get a multi meter and check these diodes out. Besides the diodes... you will see a transformer.... if you are looking at the unit with the fuse to the left... then look to the right of the transformer... you will see a transistor on a metal heat sink... that could have blown also.. if that did... then you should also check the diodes just on the other side of the heatsink too.
check the ac wire if it is plug properly.make sure it have energy power in the outlet.if it has, then open the unit and look the fuse on the high voltge.if the fuse is bad.replace it.after
Sounds like the fuse is working fine! *grin*
It's probably a bad magnetron or high voltage transformer. Since it's GE, it's much more likely to be the mag.
