the printer is as old AS,2003, 18 years old possible.

I'd say a tachometer, sensors (optical) is showing a dead shaft on the motor.
lots of causes
wires and connector failures
or the PCB that drives it bad. LGC
it tells also , are the PSU rail voltage at spec on PCB.
and me (learn that power is first in electronics, weak ,dead or full of noise(ripple, or chopper hash)
and for sure things this old the PSU with bad caps make NOISE, and that is hopeless .lacking new PSU.
basically the error means motor does not spin or does so , way too slow.

my hp junk printer the drive gear stripped on the shaft and the tachometer, stalled,
so now it is fixed with super glue. cheap thin plastic hub cracked.
motor good , looked with eyes and ears first. then hear motor spin fast (good) but drive shaft IS dead
I next see the encoder disk (tacho) is dead. and find the gear hub cracked.
HP sells no parts, (so no more me buying their junk) yes off tropic but not buying new a copier. hints .

if the motor does spin right (good)
find the sensor tachometer related(not saying i know where it is but is there)
if optical as many are and full of dust, it sure will fail so ever clean the whole copier ?
we use shop air or CAN-O-AIR and blow out all sensors and paper paths.
as you service tech would do first.

Most likely its jamming on the right side, probably needs new rubber paper feed tires.

C010 indicates main motor is abnormal.
Is the main motor working? (Perform the output check in the test mode: 03-101/151)
If main motor working, check the feeder's clutch, whether it is hard.
SOURCE: my Toshiba e-studio 3511 gives me a C010 error,
C010 indicates main motor abnormality.
U need to perform output check 03-101(ON)/151(OFF) to off the main motor. If main motor not running under output test, probably u need to replace it.
If motor working, u might need change the LGC board.
