I checked the drives internalt what I could acces (Because the screws in laptop are impossible to unscrew.. damn company) and nothing seemed wrong, no cables loose.

Removing Drive in Device Manager Remove the drive name from Device Manager: Select the drive name. Click the Uninstall or Remove button (in Windows XP this is the square button with a red X, ). Click Yes or OK to remove the CD listing. Do not restart the computer. Close Device Manager . If your computer has Windows XP, restart computer!
I am Romeet,i will try and help you with this problem.Seems it could be an issue with the Combo DVD Drive's Driver Software or Firmware.
From your Desktop:
Right Click " My Computer" Icon and select "Properties"
Go to "Hardware" Tab and select "Device Manager"
Under Device Manager, scroll down to the "DVD/CDROM Drives" menu and click on the plus ( + ) Sign next to it
Right Click the Drive name eg " Toshiba DVD-R TSST 2313" and select " Uninstall" Click yes to any prompts and restart your Laptop.
After rebooting, Windows XP should pick up the drivers again, so wait a while for it to complete and until it notifies you that " Windows successfully completed installing your new hardware" or something to that effect and then try using the software cds again
