I have replaced all ink cartridges n black will not print n when I change it to colour it prints everything in pink

The color combinations (order?) of different printers are not the same. Make sure that you have the right cartridges for your printer.

Why when i print some pic,its become pink colour...why?plz help me sir.tq.

Check that all cartridges are full as black is needed as well as colour.. Next do the print test to ensure the colour strips are set for the printer. Use only quality replacement cartridges as some others are not compatable with the setting of the printer.

I have a hp 6500. It has started printing pink instead of black.

Either:
* printers mix in a bit of "colour" ink when you request BLACK,
so that the colour ink-jets do not dry-out. So, since your BLACK has become EMPTY, all you get is PINK,

or,

* some printers mix colours to produce BLACK-ish colour.
Check that your CYAN and YELLOW ink-cartridges have not gotten to be EMPTY.

I have just fitted new cartridges although it was only the colour one which needed renewing I thought! However it wuld only print out in red/pink shades so I changed the black cartridge to be on the safe...

I have personally encountered similar problem in my work. There is no problem with your printer, No need to go to your suppliers yet.

Sometimes when either of the inks overflow at the nuzzle, it gets absorbed to an extent into another ink compartment. So that colour affected now prints another colour; the colour that has crept into its compartment, Sometimes it is serious at other times is not. If not serious, usually, after a few solid colour prints the colour affected returns to normal.

I do not know how much of a technical person you are, but I will give you the solution to returning that yellow printing red back to printing truly yellow. Bring out your colour cartridge. Peel off the seal covering top. You will see the holes through which in is fed into it. Get a clean handkerchief, fold it and place over the top of the cartridge. Hold it over a bowl or something. Now place your mouth over the top with the handkerchief in between and blow hard. Ink will discharged at the nuzzle. Clean off the ink. (At the nuzzle do not rub only dab). Now press a piece of folded tissue to the nuzzle firmly. It should be blotted with ink:- red, blue, yellow. If any colour is missing you may need to repeat the procedure. Once you get the three colours back, the issue is resolved.

Maintenance your cartridge with head clean or deep clean. If you don't get full colour, then change the colour cartridge.

ur printer prints in blues pinks n purple: its very simple :there r three prime colours in ur colour cartridge that forms all the other colour variation they are cyan, magenta n yellow. ur yellow colour in ur cartridge is either dried or empty thats the reason its not printing the colour variations which requires yellow. the solution is to either get ur colour cartridge refilled or replace ur colour cartridge. rate this solution as fixya n encourage us to help u solve ur problems in future too.thanks 4 using fixya.

Color ink is not working

Dear Black Rose
It is strongly recommended to change your colour cartridge.
Or it can be possible that you did not use your colour cartridge for a long time.
The nozzle of colour cartridge are blocked, if you did not use your colour cartridge for a long time.
Purchase a new cartridge if you can or go for a local refiller to refill (if possible) your colour cartridge.
Thanks

Won't print docs in black ink

The application that you use to print may have been cofigured to avoid the black color.

And sometimes a virus has affetced your application e.g. MS Word.... this may cause the printer to print in any colour.

In this case you should reinstall the application. (first completely remove the application).
