Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WD640 Front Load Washer/Dryer
After washing one evening, the clothes had almost stuck to the outside of the drum during the spin cycle. Subsequently when drying later I noticed the machine making a funny sound - I stopped and checked the load to find that there was a burning smell - I am presuming that the drying element may have burnt out due to the fact that no air could enter the drum because the clothes were stuck in the drum holes?? If anyone could advise if this is the case and the element needs replacing or if something else has burnt out?? Currently the drying cycle runs but the clothes are still wet afterwards? Regards Martin
More than likely that your thermostats have blown if you could smell the heater element getting hot then this will be the case m8
