Printer is only printing half of the text it should be printing?

Please help, yesterday the printer printed the first few sheets properly but after a while it only printed half the text on each page. Today it's giving me a third of the text i should have on each page but doesn't print the missing text on other pages??

Sometimes it prints a half page and other times a third. Can i fix this myself? I don't think the printer has ever been serviced and this isn't really an option at the moment....? It's about one yr old...

your help is much appreciated.

I've just cleaned the heads etc but it hasn't worked; i will try unplugging now though and let you know. Many thanks :)

I cleaned the heads, realigned them, deleted the printer and reloaded it, and still no joy.
Looks like I'll have to go out and buy a new printer as I've run out of option.
Can anyone help?

My printer started working right again when i completely unpluged it for 5 min.and rebooted all the printing software

also if it's never been serviced you might just need to have the print heads cleaned

Please use your manual to follow the initial set of instructions that you used to setup label printing on your Zebra device. Then, you can run a few test prints to make sure that everything is working properly. Otherwise, you might need a factory reset.

When printing the sheet comes out half black

Sounds like the Photo-conductor is going bad. If it's a separate part in your printer, you just might want to change it out. Otherwise it might also be built into the toner cart, and you'll need to get a replacement toner cart. Not usual but, i've seen a few bad toner carts.

I pulled a sheet of paper out of the printer

Turn both printer and pc off Turn printer on first then PC and it should clear and get back on track

My HP printer prints fine with single sheet printing. When I try to print checks using a forms leader whcih makes it a double thick sheet the print layout moves to the top of the page whcih does not...

Please check the paper type settings on the Properties of the printer. Go to Printers and Faxes. You may need to adjust the paper shutter

HP Deskjet 5150 print is too small

Printers try to fit web pages on a single sheet of paper. If you configure the printer, in the print dialog, not to shrink images and text to fit the paper, it will print on multiple sheets of paper, but the correct size for the images and text.

In a Word document, it depends on what font size you have selected. Most people would rather have the web page print on a single sheet, with smaller images and text than were on the monitor; than tape together multiple sheets for 100% size printout.

Make sure your sheets are aligned and tucked in with the paper feed rails, otherwise, it will slightly veer off one of the sides.

Also, if you haven't replaced the paper feeder rollers, do so, one must be worn out more than the other, and this also prevents the sheets from going through straight.

Stops printing a full page picture half-way through and prints the rest on the next page in some random place. I have also had some problems printing text in the same way. The picture I am trying to print...

I noticed that when I restart Windows, I can print one sheet fine, the second sheet prints only half. Restart again, and I can print one more sheet.
My local Canon helpdesk proves as unhelpful as all helpdesks these days.
