Someone recently gave me a Supersonic FC-2245 TV/DVD Combo. He says it was only a few months old. It looks great and everything seems to work fine except for when I put it a DVD. The DVD keeps ejecting back out. I have tried several different DVD's, even a G rated one in case that was the problem. One thing that I noted is that the DVD is always in the exact same position as it was when the drawer closed, therefore, I assume that the DVD is not spinning when the drawer closes. I do not have a manual for this TV so I am wondering if there is something that I need to do in order to make the DVD player work?
Thank You,
Gary
The Supersonic FC-2245 has known DVD issues and thousands were returned for credit. You may not have a solution. They are also being replaced by the FC2835

just turn off the power and open the back up and you should be able to get them, PLEASE TURN ALL POWER OFF BEFORE HAND - AND DISCHARGE THE TUBE BY LEAVING THE PLUG OUT AND PUSH THE POWER ON BUTTON ON - DO AT YOU OWN RISK
Ok on this model i had some problems with the H-tr or the Transistor in the Horizontal deflection it was burned so my advice is better go to repair man or just read some articles how to solder and use multimeter. Before doing some thing else.
Codes are bound to the remote, not your set so the model of remote is required and none of the so-called 'universal' remotes really are.
I wish someone would bring a suit against any of
these manufacturers using the term 'universal.' At best, they are 'multibrand' and, with the
proliferation of 'brands,' there never will be one that can rightfully claim to
be 'universal.' There may never be a code for your brand
available in every remote.
you can purchase one from any local electronics parts store.
you can buy one from ebay too.
just type power cord and you will see flood of info.
