Camera says unable to open camera

It could be that your camera is automatically saving to your phone instead of to your memory card. Check your camera settings for that.

Press and hold the camera button located on the botom right of the device. This will bring up the camera app. Once the camera app is running press the same button to take a picture or half press to cause it to focus then press to take the picture.

press and hold the large button on thed right side of the phone until the screen shows what the camera is looking at. to come out of the camera just press the middle button on the front of the phone.

It is not very easy to say few lines to tutor ,but learn to use only by experience.Put the battery on for charging.Once fully charged slide the power switch to camera.Open the lens cap ,open the view finder display.Now you can see the picture on your screen.Set the camera to auto focus.show the camera to a white screen so as to white balance the camera.Now point at an object and do a trial Zooming using the auto zoom with your finger.The image will come closer and you can draw it to white screen.Having an object in view on the white screen,press the record button.Slowly move the zoom forward to get the right frame of the object.Press reccording button once again to stop.Repeat the process on different scenes.
Now shift the mode switch to play and rewind and play the reccorded portion.Practice.

Hi, sorry for late answer. I think it is a common problem on flip or slide mobile phones. I had the same problem and i fixed it by replacing the ribbon flex cable. They are very cheap on ebay (i got one for $2.35 with free P&P)...

Well, the easiest way is to use the botom button on the right side (edge) of your phone.

The other way is to press the Main Menu button on the main screen. This is the middle icon at the bottom of the screen that has 4 dots then go to Media Center.
Select Pictures & Video then Take Picture.

Point and press the camera button (bottom right edge)

To switch between Video and Pictures, press and hold down the camera button until either the camera icon or the video (movie camera) icon appears.

Once you take the picture, you have to select the second icon down on the right to save it to the phone.

Sounds as if the memory card has corrupted data on it now. You will need to format the memory card. This will permanently erase all the data from the card and then you will be able to use it again. To format the card: Press the Menu button - right arrow to Setup Menu - right arrow to Format- Press Ok. You will see format yes or no. Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear the write protect and picture error messages and the card can be used again.

The problem was solved by replacing the flex cable that connects the two halves together. My phones screen is back, all the buttons work, and the camera button no longer reboots the phone (also going to camera through mypix doesn't cause reboot either). The cable was very easy to replace and took me 10 minutes at most only using a screw driver and the info in the link I provided ealier.

First of all backup ur every important thing.Switch off ur phone hold *,3 and green call button at the same time and switch on ur phone.problem resolved.
