The key indicates that the photo is protected. To unprotect the photo, while viewing the photo press the MENU button, select the key icon, then select "OFF". Full details are on page 35 of the manual.

Protected pictures cannot be erased using [ERASE],
[SEL. IMAGE] or [ALL ERASE], but they are all erased by
formatting.
• Go to Playback mode in the camera. Select the picture to be unlocked with the left or right arrow buttons, and to remove the protection select OFF with the up or down arrow button.

Page 29 of your manual refers how to protect images (lock them and unlock them).

I lack access to the keyboard. That said, according to the manual on page 13, depressing the code button and holding it down while pressing another key will access the green symbol on that key, part of an alternate set of characters. Hello and Welcome

To delete the pictures from your Fuji FinePix A330 Digital Camera follow the given steps:
  • On the back of your camera, move the switch down from the red camera symbol to the green arrow symbol.
  • On the top of your camera, press the POWER button.
  • Using the left and right arrow keys on the back of your camera, move through your photos to select the first photo you want to delete.
  • On the back of your camera, press MENU/OK.
  • Using the arrow key pointing up, select FRAME and then press MENU/OK.
  • You will now see, on your screen, the words ERASE OK? Press MENU/OK.
  • The camera will automatically ask you if you want to erase the next photo. If you do, press MENU/OK, but if you don't, press the BACK button

There are two options to delete pictures from your camera:

1. You can delete the picture with the camera itself:

Green key shows on screen, cannot delete that photo
The key means that the picture is locked so you can not erase by accident. You need to remove the key be for you can erase the pic. If you have the manual it will tell you how. if not get me the model of camera and I will get you a manual.
