Turning Keypad Beeps On/Off
Your radio comes with the keypad beeps turned on. To turn them off or
temporarily disable them:
1. Turn off the radio.
2. Press and hold the minus (-), while turning on the radio.
To turn the keypad beeps on again, repeat steps 1 and 2.

Very good. I see you were wanting to shut the "roger" beep off. And you are correct, hold in the plus (+) while turning the radio on, will turn this feature on or off.

I had thought you were referring to the beep you get when pressing any front button or when turning the radio on. This beep is shut off using the directions I have you.

I am glad it worked out for you.

My T5950 won't stop beeping when I push the PTT button. I tried holding the PTT in when I turn the unit on and that didn't stop it.

Very likely it is the battery. Beeping means not enough power especially when transmitting. Try charging the battery again, try transmitting again and plan on new batteries. They "wear out" even when not in use.

Why is my Hyundai i10 is beeping when the door opens?

If the car uses a key fob its beeping because the key is still inside the vehicle.

The door ajar beeping comes on anytime a door is open, whether or not a key is in the ignition.

The light and the beeping are two differant things. Headlight switch on? Or the switch were the key gos may think the key is still in the switch.

I have Dell Inspiron 1440 Laptop. I am using it fop almost 2 years. But recently there is a problem when I turn on my laptop. At the start up I hear a continuous beep (beep-beep-beep-beep-.....beep....)...

I would check to make sure that no keys are stuck down, if they are they oveload a buffer in the computer and the beeping will drvie you crazy. Get some compressed air and blow under the keys or you can vacuum them sideways don't do it straight down or you'll **** the keys off :)

On my ibm personal wheelwriter2 it keeps beeping everytime i hit a certain point and i cant make it stop!

Sounds like you have the R. margin set there. Space across to the point you would like the margin to beep, press R. mar key on the L. side of the keyboard.

HP notepad - continueous beeping sound with equal sign characters

If you are getting a lot of = character along with the beeping, this indicates you have a stuck = key and the beeping sound is the keyboard buffer is swamped with the = character. If you can't unstick this key, then you need to replace the keyboard.
