My company has several LS2208 Barcode scanners. We are unable to get them working in a citrix environment. We try to scan a barcode and it makes some funny noises and then nothing else happens.
You you using USB versions of the device?
What device is hosting Citrix? (Maybe I should rephrase ... what computer is the LS2208 connected to and does it hold a citrix client)
Be advised that Citrix hosted on specialty devices like table pcs are finicky about the keyboard data timing (a synchronous operation)
Possibility #2 is power sag. When that scanner comes on it requires a lot of current, and often USB power (.5 amp max) isn't enough.
If you have a 15 foot USB cable on the scanner try a 6' striaght cable instead of one of the external power supply cables which provides a power pack and more power.
