My printer shows the message: "P87 replace transfer kit then update in consumables menu.
It has been working well before and still has connection to the computer, it just refuses to print anything.
I have not been able too find anything about the "transfer kit" in any manual. What is it? Where is it located? And how to replace it?

Hi Hexus,
http://www.kmbs.konicaminolta.us/eprise/main/KMBS/Support_Center/Manuals/Pages/Attachments/3015gs.pdf
Download that manual the directions with diagrams for replacing the transfer kit are on page 40 (in the page numbers on the docs themselves, the Acroreader page number is 51)
Hope that helps,

The message only clears when you install a new transfer unit, one that hasn't been used before. If you want to clear the message, you'll have to install a brand new transfer belt.
If you know the service PIN for the 4700, you can probably go into the service menu and clear the message, but otherwise a new transfer unit is the only way to go.
You have done more than 300,000 pages. I wouldnt waste your money on a Maint Kit, just stretch it out by doing the following.
Press Menu/Ok (Main menu) Go into [>>Service] Then press the right arrow. Then find [>> Maintenance] Press the ok key, then it will show [>> Maintenance?] Press the ok key twice, and it will reset all the counts on your consumable components (Drum, Developer, Transfer Roller, ETC)
There must be a consumables supplies that need to be replace. ie, transfer belt, transfer roller, developer, or toner. If one those units reach the life cycle it will give that messages to replace.
