My dryer just began leaving brown streaks on my clothes; they're about an inch long. Are these burn marks? How do I fix it? I see no signs of corrosion inside the dryer...
Mich, The brown streaks are probably caused by worn drum guides and lower basket seal. I've seen this quite often on Frigidaire dryers. Part numbers 5303937139 upper felt guide and 5303283286 lower basket seal. This can be a task for an inexperienced person but can be done. It requires removing the top panel and front panel/door assy. The old guides have to be scraped off. The upper felt guides and lower seal glue on. Catriver...post back.

I don't know about Cat, but you sure nailed my problem. Thanks a lot for the post. Now the question is do I try to replace myself or not.
