My microwave died, I followed you hint & replaced the 20A fuse. After doing so the microwave turns on but it does not seem to be heating up. What do I do now?
This could be due to a bad door switch, or a defective part in the high voltage section. Mine tuns on, light comes on, turntalbe turns, but does'nt heat anything. also, it use to make just a standard humming noise when cooking, now the tone is louder, and lower pitched.
when i tune on my microwave ovan i do not get heat
mine does the same, it turns round, the light turns on, the motor sounds (a little louder than normal) but no heat is given out.
What could be causing this?
shut the door. light goes out. key in a time. press start. light comes on. fan comes on. turntable turns. food comes out cold. no heat. microwave is less than 2 months old. it appears to be a fairly common problem with emerson microwaves.
