Question about Polaroid i532 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Camera sticks and screen won't stay on

Suddenly my camera will only turn on for about 2 seconds/ the screen flashes on too quick for me to see any of the icons and then the power light goes off. The lens is still sticking out and I have to keep turning it off and on for it to finally close. Usually, theres a short sound effect when it turns on and I don't hear that anymore either... I put new batteries in and that didn't work...could it be that the batteries are not strong enough? This is a brand new camera and I am REALLY FRUSTRATED! :( PLEASE HELP!

I have the same problem.. the camera comes on but when I scroll through the pictures, it shuts down automatically after only maybe 10 seconds. The same for trying to shoot pictures. I tried brand new batteries and it doesn't seem to help. Also, the lens doesn't want to shut completely. I have had my mother's day gift camera for over a year so can't send it back. It is so frustrating because I wanted one so badly and have enjoyed it so much and have been so very careful with it in every way.

I am so aggrevated with my polaroid i532. I've had it maybe 6 months and my husband threw away the reciept. It wont stay on, it has brand new rechargable batteries and memory card and nobody can seem to fix it. I would never recommend this camera.

I have 2 i532s and have the same problem with both (goes on then off and the lense is stuck out). Polaroid wants the receipt which I don't have in order to fix them. Guess I'm out 2 cameras. I wouldn't suggest buying any of these.

I sent mine back to be serviced and they said it was the batteries. Use rechargables fully charged.

Handycam suddenly won't turn off. When I remove the battery it turns off ,of course, but when I reinstall the battery it starts up even though it is on off. If I try to record it won't and a C:13:01 shows...

I think it is Sony handycam but not sure what model it is.
Please provide model number to find out helpful info for you.
Model number would be written on sticker pasted at bottom of camcorder.
Thanks.

Psps wont turn on

i can fix this but it is a firmware issue. you can either buy a pandora battery and make a magic memory stick or have it serviced but it would need to be shipped out

My camera wont stay on after i turn it on

Hi. It can be a problem with flash capacitor. To check if it is the case you should be able to power your camera at least for 10 seconds. If you can not power your camera for this time from batteries, try to use external DC 7.4V 2A power supply. After powering your camera just follow this procedure. 1. Turn on the camera. 2. Turn off the flash by pressing flash button (be sure that flash is OFF but not in AUTO regime). 3. Turn off the camera. 4. Turn on the camera. If after these operations camera can be powered from batteries and you can make pictures than the problem is in the flash capacitor which should be replaced. Or you still can make pictures with your camera without using a flash.

Memory stick error

Try using another memory stick, or insert a confirmed good memory stick, if OK, the memory stick is defective, if the same error, try pressing reset at the back of camera, a small hole beside the the DC jack. if OK, then fine, if still the same, camera needs repair. thanks
