Question about Electrolux 18 in. ESL4114 Slim-Line Built-in Dishwasher
I've had my ESL6114 built in dishwasher for 13 months and has worked fine up until now. After the cycle has finished large portions of the tablets are left in the bottom of the dishwasher and the dishes have not been cleaned properly. The tablet has been released from it's compartment but has not properly disolved. We haven't noticed anything else unusual in terms of the noise it makes etc and we're using good quality tablets so I'm not sure what to do to fix the problem - Can you help? Many Thanks
I have a 4114 and the problem was not enough water entering the washer. You can check by adding extra water (kettle full) to the washer just after start. ( opening the door just suspends the cycle) If your dishes clean well then you will need to adjust the pressure level switch to allow more water in. There is an adjustment screw on the switch which needs to be turned 1/4- 1/2 a turn. This puts more tension on the spring so more water needs to enter before the switch is activated. On the 4114 the switch has 2 adjusters. It is the taller of the 2 that require adjusting. Do little turns until the water level just covers the filters.

Tips for a great answer:
Hi - If the unit is not drying nor cleaning properly, there are two main things to check first. Is the incoming water temperature at least 120F (49C)? If not, I strongly suggest that the temperature be adjusted on your water heater. Are you using rinse aid? Use a rinse agent to increase drying performance and using Sanitize or Air Dry Off mode also helps improve drying. If any proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately.
