I purchased a 2006 Mustang GT recently & it has a Kenwood KDC-MP528 car audio system but no manual w/it. I need to set clock, & would like to know exactly what features I have. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rusty... [email protected]

Try putting the radio in standby mode and then hold the menu button in for a few seconds. Once you enter the menu, use the am or fm buttons to scroll through the menu. Then hold the seek up or seek down for a few seconds until the clock flashes, You should then be able to use the am/fm buttons and seek up and down buttons to set the hours and minutes. Once you have the time set, press the menu button again.

I appears to be impossible to put in a security code after the owner sets one. If you purchased this radio from someone and it is used, you need to get the code from the original owner.

This is a common mistake. This problem indicates that you are using the solid blue wire from the head unit to the remote turn-on on the amp. This is a power antenna wire that only receives power when on FM radio. You need to replace this with the Blue & White wire from the head unit (power control wire) to your remote turn-on on your amp. This should solve your issue.
It is all described in the manual, page 27
