My stihl saw wont start? it died the other day cutting slabs, it has a good spark and i have cleaned the piston, barrel, carb throughout, it has new plug and air filters. I have tried damp start on the plug and direct into the barrel, and petrol oil mix and it still doesnt have any life?? ive run out of ideas now.......

Check the spark arrestor screen and see if the screen has carbon deposits on it. If it does then you need to clean the spark arrestor screen and re install it in the muffler. You can clean it by burning off the carbon. The air filters on the TS 700 Cut Off Saw do not need to be cleaned, they only need to be replaced when the unit starts running poorly. The carburetor could have something in it that is keeping the needle from closing and flooding out the unit. I would suggest taking this unit to a Stihl dealer that has a Gold Certified Technician. You can use the dealer locator on the the Stihl USA website. I have included a link HERE. You can type in your zip code and it will tell you where the closest dealer is and what level of technician they have.

Clean it again you missed something or maybe a gasket is on wrong. If you went through all of that it should run fine. Stihl usually rebuilds and runs well. Slow down turbo maybe you got a little ahead of yourself. Good Luck...

the jets in the carburetor need to be cleaned out very well to operate this engine
the holes in the jets are very small and clog up easily with in a year or two
