Question about Philips Magnavox TS3260C 32" TV

Stray voltage I am getting 40 volts ac out of the F-connector at the back of the TV. Why? is there a quick fix? It is sending voltage in the cable lines. Thanks Dee

Whats a F connector please??

If you can describe it more then maybe the following may assist....

There are several types of plugs and sockets on TV receivers for many applications....A SCART type has many pins for the sound and Video outputs to various type of CD, Video, or surround sound systems, or games consoles.
There are also systems that supply a DC voltage over these various type of plugs and sockets to "drive" the input electronics at the far end of the TV receiver....A classic example is for a mast head amplifier which needs a DC voltage to make the Amplifier work and this is done over the TV areial connection so maybe this is what you are describing....More detail please...

Lincoln ac/dc 125/225 stray voltage question.We changed the aluminum transformer out for an older copper one because it was weak and the ground would bite you.

The shock can be caused by numerous issues such as high humidity, bad ground connection at the case, etc... the suppressor board is just another name for a surge protector, if it is bad, it could bleed current through the ground clamp
