Question about Canon PowerShot S80 Digital Camera
On the S80, you need to remove the 6 screws accessible from the outside of the camera. at that point only the bottom half of the camera front comes loose. The thin black strip can be removed (gently) and at the top of the camera, dead center, is a hinge. carefully slot a flathead screwdriver into the hinge and you will feel is disengage. at that point you can take the front and back off the camera guts, and replace the lcd panel.
good luck and be gentle with it.

I fixed it myself. Sent off for the screen from Lehmann in London. Just a case of taking out a few screws, opening the camera, unplug to old screen and plug in a new one. easy.
